Job Description :

Our client, a well-established, leading global technology consulting firm is currently seeking a Cerner MedSeries 4 Consultant to assist our client in the San Francisco Bay.


 


Responsibilities



  • Provided regulatory and operational support for potentially clinical and financial reporting.

  • Complete data analysis and reporting for key metrics by writing queries against data sources and consolidating results to feed Tableau dashboards

  • Program and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed

  • Manage all aspects of analytics projects

  • Gather, document, and confirm requirements, evaluate against existing inventory, design solution, obtain

  • SME signoff, code, test/validate, UAT, SME signoff & documentation, transition work and train end users

  • Interact professionally with Executives and C-Suite

  • Estimate work effort and report actual hours for multiple concurrent projects and work streams

  • Provide weekly “Issue/Risk/Accomplishment/Plans” Status Reports

  • Instill and exhibit best practices

  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications :


  • Cerner MedSeries 4 reporting experience (preferably financial / revenue cycle / reimbursement)

  • Strong SQL development using best practice industry standards

  • Data normalization

  • Metrics development (defining population, numerators, and denominator)

  • Ability to transition work, perform SQL code reviews and peer testing of deliverables

  • Must be physically located in or near San Jose, CA or willing to travel.  (No remote)  

  • Business Statistics / Data Analysis

  • Analytical Skills

  • Ability to organize data and documents

  • Report writing and presentation skills

  • Strong collaborator successful working in cross-functional teams
